About the role
We are looking for a creative Motion Graphic Artist to volunteer their time creating engaging visual content for our educational YouTube channel, podcasts, and online courses. The role involves turning complex scripts into simple, animated stories that help audiences understand technology, science, history and more.
Key responsibilities
- Create motion graphics and animated illustrations for explainer‑style YouTube videos.
- Design visual elements such as icons, maps, diagrams and text to enhance educational content.
- Match narration with animations, graphics, transitions and on‑screen elements to produce cohesive visual stories.
- Produce intros, transitions and visual hooks for podcast episodes and JOS Academy lessons.
- Maintain a consistent visual style across all media, following established branding and creative direction.
- Collaborate with the content and creative team, incorporate feedback and meet production deadlines.
