Senior Sales Executive

About the role

SmartCity Plc is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to drive high‑value real‑estate transactions across its portfolio. The role focuses on generating ₦600 million in sales each quarter within the assigned territory, building relationships with high‑net‑worth clients and closing substantial deals.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect new business through direct outreach, referrals, networking events and strategic partnerships.
• Identify, qualify and convert prospective buyers for residential, mixed‑use and land developments.
• Conduct client meetings, sales presentations, investment discussions and site inspections.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement to negotiation, closing and payment collection.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and other sales collateral to advance qualified opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts and pipeline updates.
• Provide market intelligence, customer feedback and competitive insights to management.
• Achieve quarterly sales targets consistently.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in real‑estate sales, preferably handling high‑value transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline and close deals.
• Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with HNIs, investors and corporate clients.

Required skills

• Proficiency in sales CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
• Advanced Excel for forecasting and pipeline management.
