Business Development Manager

About the role

Homelight Properties Limited is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive growth across its branches in Nigeria. You will lead client acquisition, market expansion, and revenue generation while collaborating closely with sales and senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute growth strategies to acquire new clients and expand market reach.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, trends, and competitor activities.
• Prepare and present business proposals, pitch decks, and feasibility reports.
• Drive expansion plans for all branches across states.
• Generate and nurture leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and partnerships.
• Manage key customer accounts and ensure excellent customer experience.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets and track performance metrics.
• Collaborate with marketing to design campaigns that support business growth.
• Support recruitment, training, and performance monitoring of business development officers.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Estate Management or related field.
• 3–5 years proven experience in business development, sales or real estate.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet revenue targets.
• Willingness to travel across branches as needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience with lead management software.
