Senior Project Manager / Chief of Staff

About the role

International Facilities Services (IFS) Group is seeking a senior professional to act as Chief of Staff and Senior Project Manager, serving as the operational backbone of a fast‑scaling organisation that manages complex facilities across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the CEO’s vision into structured plans, attend key meetings, capture decisions and ensure follow‑through.
• Own end‑to‑end delivery of multiple simultaneous projects across departments, building and maintaining trackers in tools such as Airtable, Notion or Excel.
• Drive accountability across cross‑functional teams, proactively remove blockers and develop standardised project‑management frameworks.
• Oversee daily operational workflows, design SOPs, manage vendor relationships and monitor operational KPIs.
• Build and maintain operational systems and visual dashboards using Airtable, Canva, Google Workspace, Trello and related tools.
• Analyse data to surface insights, support evidence‑based decision‑making and rapidly adopt new platforms as needed.

Required profile

• Self‑directed operator who thrives in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments.
• Comfortable working with both detailed spreadsheets and senior‑level boardroom discussions.
• Strong commitment to integrity, accountability and quality.
• Ability to coordinate and follow up with internal teams and external partners.
