Sales Executive – Construction & Building Materials

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive with strong field‑sales experience in the construction, building materials, or sanitary fittings sector. The role involves driving business development, generating new leads, managing client relationships, and converting opportunities into sales through extensive on‑site engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities within the construction and building‑materials market.
• Conduct regular field visits to contractors, developers, project sites, architects, engineers, and procurement teams.
• Promote and sell sanitary fittings, bathroom fixtures, kitchen fittings, waterproofing products, and other building materials.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Follow up on leads, quotations, enquiries, and ongoing projects to drive conversions.
• Negotiate with clients and close sales in line with company targets.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Building Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience in construction, building materials, sanitary fittings, or related trading.
• Proven field‑sales and business‑development experience with existing relationships in the construction sector.
• Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, and closing abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage field activities, and consistently meet sales targets.
