Senior Product Designer – UX Design (Fintech)

About the role

Moniepoint is looking for a Senior Product Designer to create intuitive, accessible, and effective financial products. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams, mentor junior designers, and champion user‑centred design across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute design strategies aligned with business goals and user needs.
• Lead end‑to‑end design from discovery, research, wireframing, prototyping to final UI.
• Conduct advanced user research, usability testing, and A/B experiments.
• Partner with product managers and engineers to ensure seamless implementation.
• Design scalable UI components and contribute to the design system.
• Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design principles.
• Create micro‑interactions and motion elements to boost engagement.
• Use data‑driven insights to continuously improve the experience.

Required profile

• 3+ years in senior product design, preferably in fintech or SaaS.
• Proven ability to lead impactful projects and mentor junior designers.
• Strong understanding of behavioural psychology and its impact on user decisions.
• Experience working in agile, fast‑paced product teams.

Required skills

• Figma mastery (auto‑layout, design tokens, component variants, interactive prototypes).
• Motion design tools: Lottie, After Effects, Principle.
• UX analytics tools: Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Hotjar.
• Atomic design principles and building scalable UI frameworks.
