About the role
The Senior Nursing Manager oversees and manages the nursing team, ensures high standards of patient care, and provides continuous training, education and professional development for nurses.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise, coordinate and manage the nursing team.
- Develop and deliver training programmes to improve nurses' clinical knowledge and skills.
- Monitor staff performance and ensure compliance with clinical standards and healthcare regulations.
- Ensure quality patient care, patient safety and adherence to nursing protocols.
- Identify training needs, mentor nurses and promote continuous professional development.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve service delivery.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Valid NMC registration and practising licence.
- Minimum of 7 years' nursing experience, including team leadership or management.
