Senior Medical Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Medical Sales Representative to join our leading healthcare and pharmaceutical company in the South‑East region of Nigeria. The role focuses on driving sales of medical and pharmaceutical products while building strong relationships with healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with doctors, nurses, pharmacists, hospitals and other healthcare providers.
• Promote and sell pharmaceutical and medical products to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to highlight benefits and proper usage.
• Manage an assigned territory, creating strategies to maximise sales opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and new product developments.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to implement effective sales plans.
• Provide after‑sales support and resolve customer enquiries or product concerns.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and orders.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies and ethical sales practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Biological Sciences, Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business or a related field.
• Proven experience in medical or pharmaceutical sales, preferably with a reputable pharma company.
• Strong understanding of medical products, healthcare terminology and the pharmaceutical industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Effective territory, organisation and time‑management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the South‑East region.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems and other sales tools.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of ₦350,000 – ₦400,000 net plus commission.
