Senior Manager, Financial Reporting

About the role

Flutterwave is looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Reporting to lead the preparation, consolidation and compliance of financial statements across its multi‑entity operations. You will ensure accurate reporting, drive process automation and support regulatory filings.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close processes for subsidiaries in multiple countries.
• Prepare and review consolidated financial statements under IFRS and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate ERP data (NetSuite) with robust reconciliations, journal entry controls and audit trails.
• Coordinate interim and annual audits, liaise with external auditors and secure sign‑off of audited statements.
• Develop and enforce Group accounting policies, implement new IFRS standards and provide technical guidance.
• Drive automation and standardisation of reporting processes, partnering with IT and FP&A on NetSuite, Oracle and Power BI enhancements.
• Support treasury on foreign‑exchange translation and collaborate with tax and FP&A teams on disclosures.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in financial reporting, consolidation and statutory compliance in a multi‑entity environment.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, local GAAPs and SOX‑type internal control frameworks.
• Proven ability to lead audit processes and manage cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
