Senior Manager, Business Development

About the role

Flutterwave is seeking a Senior Manager, Business Development to lead strategic growth initiatives across public and private sectors. The role focuses on government engagements, enterprise partnerships, and integrated payment solutions, driving revenue through acquisition and expansion of high‑value accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development strategy targeting public sector and enterprise segments.
• Build and maintain relationships with governors, ministers, regulators, banking executives, and corporate leaders.
• Identify, qualify, and convert strategic opportunities that generate revenue and market expansion.
• Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, from solution design to negotiation, contracting, and implementation.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to design tailored payment and collection solutions.
• Prepare business cases, proposals, presentations, and executive briefs for prospects and internal stakeholders.
• Manage a pipeline of strategic opportunities, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
• Represent Flutterwave at executive meetings, industry forums, and strategic engagements.

Required profile

• Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of payments, collections, and digital financial solutions.
• Proven experience engaging senior government officials, banking executives, and corporate leaders.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, Operations, Compliance, and Finance teams.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
