AI‑Driven Commercial Performance Analyst – Banking & Payments

About the role

The AI‑driven Commercial Performance Analyst will monitor and improve commercial outcomes for WayaBank and WayaQuick, using data analytics and AI‑enhanced insights to drive revenue, transaction volume and product profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks for revenue, transaction volumes and customer behaviour.
• Analyse performance trends and recommend pricing, product feature and go‑to‑market adjustments.
• Collaborate with product, finance, sales and operations teams to prepare performance reviews, business cases and forecasting models.
• Present data‑driven insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong performance analysis experience in banking, payments or fintech, with a focus on KPI tracking.
• Finance knowledge of revenue drivers, unit economics, pricing and profitability analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, Statistics, Business or related field; certifications such as CFA, FRM or data‑analytics credentials are a plus.
• Experience in digital banking, payments or fintech in emerging markets, preferably Nigeria.
