Senior Finance Officer

About the role

SmartCity Resorts PLC, the investment arm of the SmartCity Group, is seeking a commercially minded and analytical Senior Finance Officer to support financial planning, investment analysis, cash‑flow management, and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, financial projections and variance analyses to aid management decisions.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, analyse returns, assess risks and support due‑diligence.
• Develop and maintain financial models, cash‑flow projections and scenario analyses.
• Monitor liquidity, forecast cash requirements and support cash‑flow planning.
• Track portfolio performance against budgets, targets and expected returns.
• Provide financial insights for capital allocation and funding decisions.
• Prepare periodic management reports highlighting performance, risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Accounts, Compliance & Audit to obtain reliable financial data while keeping finance functions distinct.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 4–8 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, FP&A, investment analysis or treasury.
• Experience in real estate, investment management or capital‑intensive industries is a plus.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA or CFA are advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication and presentation skills.
• High integrity, commercial awareness and attention to detail.
