Senior Business Manager – Telecom Operations

About the role

The Senior Business Manager will plan, monitor and ensure achievement of customer and revenue market‑share objectives for zonal operations. The role supervises multiple teams across network operations, customer service, channel management and market expansion to deliver operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Drive prepaid and postpaid revenue growth by defining zonal sales strategies, monitoring churn and ensuring timely activations.
• Achieve net revenue targets and lead customer‑service initiatives to improve collections and reduce bad debts.
• Promote value‑added services upselling and reduce first‑bill churn through targeted campaigns.
• Audit and review channel partners and distributors to maintain healthy ROI and oversee claim disbursements.
• Expand distribution width and depth by increasing the number of Easy Charge and SIM‑selling outlets.
• Optimize network coverage by overseeing new site deployments, cell availability and outage reduction.
• Enhance showroom experience through infrastructure upgrades, staff training and employee engagement programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management or related Social Sciences (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 12 years retail sales experience, preferably in telecommunications, FMCG or manufacturing, with at least 4 years in middle‑management.
• Strong knowledge of Route‑to‑Market and Go‑to‑Market strategies.
• Proven track record in revenue generation, business development and growth.
• Excellent relationship‑management, analytical and numerical skills.
• Demonstrated leadership ability and a customer‑centric orientation.
