Senior Auditor

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Auditor to lead end‑to‑end audits across our nationwide branches. Based in Ikeja, you will ensure the accuracy, compliance and efficiency of financial records, inventory and operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute audit engagements for multiple branches.
• Conduct fieldwork, test internal controls and review financial documentation.
• Prepare clear audit reports with practical recommendations.
• Collaborate with branch managers, finance teams and senior leadership to address findings.
• Monitor adherence to company policies and identify potential fraud or irregularities.
• Contribute to the development of audit methodologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls and risk management.
• Proficiency in accounting principles and financial analysis.
• Ability to plan and manage audit engagements in a fast‑paced distribution environment.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, professional ethics and discretion.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; professional certifications (ACA, ACCA, CIA) preferred.
• Relevant senior‑level auditing experience, preferably in a multi‑branch operation.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Audit or accounting software.
• Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems (advantage).
