Treasurer

About the role

The Treasurer will lead the development and execution of treasury and liquidity strategies for FACTS Limited, ensuring optimal cash management and compliance with regulatory requirements. This senior position involves overseeing daily cash positions, funding needs, and investment activities within the banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement effective treasury and liquidity management strategies.
• Monitor daily cash position, liquidity levels, and funding requirements.
• Manage investments, placements, and other treasury activities.
• Maintain relationships with banks, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee borrowing and funding arrangements and recommend risk mitigation strategies.
• Prepare regular treasury, liquidity, cash flow, and investment reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with CBN regulations, internal policies, and market requirements.

Required profile

• BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, or CFA (advantageous).
• 5‑7 years of experience in treasury, financial management, or banking, preferably in a banking or mortgage finance environment.
• Strong knowledge of liquidity management, cash management, investments, and financial markets.
• Good understanding of CBN regulatory requirements and banking operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial/treasury management systems.

What we offer

• Competitive remuneration of NGN 500,000 – 750,000 per month.
