Chief Operations Officer

About the role

The Group Chief Operations Officer is the principal operating executive of Crown Interactive, responsible for turning the Group’s strategy into consistent commercial and operational performance across its three business engines – public‑sector digitalisation (1Gov), power and utilities (CuBOSS) and private‑sector SaaS (CICOD). The COO leads P&L discipline, programme delivery, customer outcomes and organisational management to drive revenue, margin, cash conversion and scalable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Translate Group strategy into annual operating plans, priorities and measurable scorecards, and chair monthly operating reviews.
• Hold business‑unit leaders accountable for end‑to‑end P&L performance, ensuring visibility of revenue, margin, cost, pipeline and collections.
• Provide executive oversight of major government, utility and infrastructure programmes, ensuring governance, margin visibility and risk controls.
• Strengthen the opportunity‑to‑cash chain from proposal through invoicing and collection, improving forecast reliability.
• Establish executive account governance for strategic customers and support high‑consequence negotiations and escalations.

Required profile

• 15+ years of senior operating leadership experience in enterprise technology, infrastructure, utilities, telecoms, financial services or government transformation, with direct P&L accountability.
• Proven track record leading complex, multi‑stakeholder programmes in regulated environments and building management systems across multiple businesses or geographies.
• Strong commercial judgement covering contracting, project economics, collections and account growth.
• Relevant first degree; MBA or comparable postgraduate education advantageous, with strong financial literacy.
