IT Compliance Auditor

About the role

The IT Compliance Auditor will work closely with the Audit Lead to plan and execute internal audits across multiple locations. This role focuses on evaluating financial reporting, operational risks, and IT controls to ensure compliance with company policies and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct internal financial and operational audits, including stock, accounts, and financial records.
• Analyze data to identify reporting errors, fraud, and operational risks.
• Assess IT systems and processes, identify lapses, and recommend mitigating controls.
• Review internal control policies, risk management processes, and ensure adequate coverage.
• Participate in IT projects and product development to identify risks and embed appropriate controls.

Required profile

• HND/BSc in Accounting, Business Administration, IT or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in internal audit, IT audit, or internal control.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple initiatives.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IT audit standards and risk‑based review methodologies.
• Familiarity with certifications such as CISA, CISM, ACA, ACCA, CIA (preferred).
• Understanding of payments technology industry and security controls.
