Security Architect / Engineer – Mobile Banking Platform

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Security Architect / Engineer to lead the security architecture of our mobile banking platform. You will design, govern, and validate security controls across cloud infrastructure, mobile apps, APIs, Kubernetes, DevSecOps pipelines, and banking integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and maintain end‑to‑end security architecture for the mobile banking platform.
• Review and approve security architecture for new systems, integrations, and infrastructure changes.
• Lead threat‑modelling exercises for new products and platform enhancements.
• Architect secure Kubernetes, container, and cloud security solutions on AWS.
• Design key‑management, encryption, PKI, mTLS, JWT, and API security architectures.
• Develop secure CI/CD and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Lead security acceptance reviews, support penetration‑testing remediation, and contribute to fraud‑prevention and security‑monitoring initiatives.
• Maintain documentation for audit and regulatory compliance and present architecture to technical teams, leadership, auditors, and regulators.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a security architect or engineer in cloud‑native environments.
• Strong background in banking or financial‑services security requirements.
• Ability to work closely with engineering teams and cyber‑security leadership.
