Sales Team Lead

About the role

The Sales Team Lead will be based on‑site in Ibadan and will drive sales performance for Sovereign Technology & Innovation LTD’s Foodbank solution. You will lead a team of sales professionals, develop and execute strategies, and ensure revenue and customer acquisition targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, implement and monitor sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
• Lead, coach and motivate a sales team, conducting regular meetings and performance reviews.
• Analyse sales data, manage pipelines and produce forecasts and reports for senior management.
• Handle escalated customer issues and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners and individual customers.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify market opportunities and optimise sales processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales leadership or supervisory roles, preferably in fintech, retail or consumer services.
• Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing high‑performing teams.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data, spot trends and make data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
