Sales Representative

About the role

K.O Express Delivery is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to drive the growth of its logistics services in Abuja. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, promoting a range of transportation, warehousing and freight forwarding solutions, and nurturing long‑term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect potential customers through cold calling, networking and market research.
• Present and tailor logistics offerings—including transportation, warehousing, supply chain management and freight forwarding—to meet client needs.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure profitable deals.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow‑ups and closures.
• Build and sustain strong, long‑term relationships with existing customers, identifying upsell opportunities.
• Address client concerns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities and market conditions to position services effectively.
• Collaborate with operations, customer service, pricing and finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Record all sales activities, opportunities and customer details in the CRM system.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, reports and performance updates to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Logistics or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• 1‑2 years of sales experience, preferably in logistics, transportation or supply‑chain sectors.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion and communication abilities.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a keen understanding of client needs.
• Familiarity with logistics services such as freight forwarding, warehousing and transportation.
• Analytical capability to assess market trends and propose strategic sales approaches.
• Effective time‑management skills to handle multiple prospects and clients simultaneously.
