Sales Officer – Financial Products (Abuja)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Officer to promote and sell our financial products to individuals on the government payroll (IPPIS). The role involves generating new business, building customer relationships, and delivering excellent service in the Abuja market.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve weekly, monthly and yearly sales targets.
• Acquire new customers through networking, cold‑calling and digital marketing.
• Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of product features and benefits.
• Create awareness of the company’s offerings and respond to customer inquiries.
• Manage schedules, track leads and sales, and submit regular reports.
• Listen to customer feedback to encourage repeat sales.
• Stay updated on all product information.

Required profile

• B.Sc or HND in Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, marketing or customer acquisition within a finance or credit organisation.
• Strong communication, persuasion and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Customer‑focused with relationship‑building skills.
• Energetic, proactive and results‑driven attitude.
• Basic understanding of financial services is preferred.
