Sales & Marketing Manager

About the role

The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for proactively generating and managing sales opportunities for the location in Ikot Ekpene, ensuring smooth hand‑over to event management for timely service delivery. The role focuses on building long‑term, value‑based customer relationships and achieving personal and location revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, trade shows and community engagement.
• Coordinate with off‑property sales channels to ensure complementary sales efforts and avoid duplication.
• Participate in sales calls, prepare proposals, draft contracts and manage customer correspondence.
• Identify new business opportunities, analyse market trends, competitor strengths and economic factors to maximise revenue.
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle to drive loyalty and increase account share.
• Ensure accurate turnover of booked business to the Event Management team.

Required profile

• 2‑year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management or related field with at least 3 years sales/marketing experience, OR a 4‑year bachelor’s degree with at least 1 year relevant experience.
• Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Understanding of market dynamics, competitor analysis and target customer needs.
