Sales Manager – Techno‑Commercial (Polymer, Boiler & Water‑Treatment)

About the role

We are looking for a high‑level techno‑commercial professional to accelerate business growth across Nigeria and South Africa. The role focuses on selling polymer, CT, boiler, chillers, modular water‑treatment plants and chemical monitoring units to industrial customers. You will shape regional go‑to‑market strategies and build lasting partnerships with dealers and key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Drive business growth by selling polymer, CT, boiler, chillers, modular water‑treatment plants and chemical monitoring units to industrial clients.
• Develop and implement regional go‑to‑market strategies that achieve short‑ and long‑term revenue targets.
• Build and nurture a strong enquiry pipeline, ensuring consistent monthly sales and sustainable growth.
• Establish and maintain long‑term relationships with dealers, distributors, and major industrial customers.
• Provide technical support to local dealers and distributors by understanding end‑client applications and expectations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and pricing dynamics to identify new opportunities and protect market share.
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, technical proposal development, presentations, contract negotiation, to final deal closure.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of sales and marketing experience in industrial sectors, including at least 3 years of overseas experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry (B.Sc or M.Sc).
• Willingness to work on‑site in Lagos, Nigeria or in Cape Town / Port Elizabeth, South Africa, with frequent travel to client sites.
