Sales Manager

About the role

SANY Nigeria Ltd is looking for a results‑driven Sales Manager to accelerate commercial growth across its heavy‑duty trucks, construction and heavy equipment portfolio. The role focuses on building strategic relationships with key corporate customers and leading a technical sales team to achieve revenue and market‑share targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead targeted sales execution for heavy‑duty trucks, construction machinery and heavy equipment.
• Develop and manage C‑suite, fleet manager and procurement director relationships within Tier‑1 logistics, mining and construction firms.
• Design complex fleet solutions, including asset‑lifecycle financing, supply strategies and integrated after‑sales service level agreements.
• Oversee pipeline forecasting, fleet renewal cycles, stock alignment with global supply chains and cash‑collection guidelines.
• Mentor and manage technical sales representatives to meet revenue, volume and market‑share objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of commercial sales leadership experience in heavy machinery, heavy‑duty trucks or industrial capital goods within Nigeria or West Africa.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven track record of closing multi‑unit fleet deals and achieving high‑volume annual revenue targets.
• Established network with logistics, mining, quarrying and major infrastructure sectors.
• Deep understanding of total cost of ownership, fleet dynamics and equipment financing models.
