Sales Manager – 3w Spare Parts & Engine Oil (Field Sales)

About the role

The company, a leading multinational trading and industrial solutions provider, is looking for a field‑focused Sales Manager to drive spare parts and engine oil sales across Ogun State and Eastern Nigeria. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager – Spare Parts, you will be responsible for expanding the dealer, distributor and retailer network, increasing secondary sales, and ensuring genuine parts reach end customers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual primary and secondary spare parts sales targets for the assigned territory.
• Work closely with distributors, retailers, mechanics and sub‑stockists to improve parts off‑take and availability.
• Identify untapped towns and villages, map the market and expand the distribution network.
• Promote the right product mix, support liquidation of slow‑moving parts and implement commercial policies and incentive programmes.
• Organise mechanic meets, retailer meets, van campaigns and road shows to raise genuine‑parts awareness.
• Manage credit and collections, ensuring healthy outstanding balances.
• Provide regular market intelligence on competitor activity, pricing, demand trends and counterfeit parts.
• Maintain accurate daily reporting through DMS/CRM, including visit plans, order capture and sales tracking.
• Build long‑term relationships with channel partners to secure loyalty for genuine spares.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 48 months (4 years) of relevant sales experience.
• Proven experience in field sales, preferably within spare parts, automotive or engine oil sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to manage distributor and retailer networks and achieve sales targets.
• Strong analytical mindset for market intelligence and credit management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM/DMS tools for sales reporting and order capture.
