Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to join Castel Resources in Port Harcourt. The role focuses on driving new business, nurturing client relationships, and achieving sales targets within the retail, fashion and FMCG sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, referrals, networking and market research.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Present and promote the company’s products and services to prospective clients.
• Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions.
• Conduct sales calls, client visits, product presentations and follow‑ups.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, sales reports and customer documentation.
• Negotiate prices and commercial terms within approved guidelines.
• Follow up on leads, enquiries, quotations and pending sales opportunities.
• Achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities and provide feedback to management.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
• Collaborate with marketing, operations and customer service teams to ensure excellent customer experience.
• Provide after‑sales support and maintain long‑term client relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree/HND/OND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Economics or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, marketing or a related role.
• Proven ability to generate leads and convert prospects into paying customers.
• Strong communication, negotiation, persuasion and presentation abilities.
• Target‑driven, proactive and self‑motivated with a commercial mindset.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and sales activities.
• Experience in the retail, fashion or FMCG industry is an advantage.
