Sales Executive

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Executive to drive revenue growth in the Retail, Fashion & FMCG sector across Delta State. The role involves prospecting new clients, managing key accounts, and delivering persuasive presentations to corporate decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve a minimum of 5 million Naira in sales revenue each month.
• Convert cold prospects into paying commercial clients and negotiate high‑volume contracts.
• Track daily sales pipelines and submit weekly and monthly performance reports.
• Manage key client accounts, resolve inquiries promptly, and ensure timely payment collection.
• Upsell and cross‑sell product portfolios to existing networks.
• Analyze competitor pricing, promotions, and market trends.
• Maintain accurate client records in the CRM system.
• Conduct daily field visits, cold calls, and represent the company at trade exhibitions.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to optimise field campaigns.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• 2–4 years of active field sales experience with a proven record of meeting high‑volume targets.
• Strong negotiation, pitching and deal‑closing abilities.
• Deep knowledge of the local retail and corporate market.
• Excellent verbal and written business communication.
• High emotional intelligence and resilience to client rejection.
