Sales Engineer – Technical Solutions for Enterprise Networks

About the role

The Sales Engineer drives Juniper Networks sales opportunities by delivering technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations and Proofs of Concept across the assigned territory. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, the role collaborates with sales, product, services and support teams throughout the sales lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical qualification and advancement of sales opportunities through workshops, solution presentations, demos, architecture sessions, POCs and RFP responses.
• Plan and prioritize customer and partner engagements, including travel, workshops and implementation handovers, to ensure coverage of strategic opportunities.
• Provide technical enablement, workshops and mentoring to channel partners and internal sales resources.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for Juniper’s AI‑Native Networking portfolio, recommending appropriate architectures, products and services.
• Collaborate with account managers, channel partners and product teams to qualify opportunities, develop proposals and address competitive requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in network engineering, systems engineering, solution architecture, technical sales or pre‑sales, preferably with enterprise networking, cloud, security or data‑center technologies.
• Experience supporting multi‑country territories is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of wired and wireless campus LAN, data‑center, routing and security solutions.
• Familiarity with Juniper’s AI‑Native Networking portfolio, including Mist AI, Marvis, WAN/SD‑WAN, and security offerings.
• Understanding of competitors’ networking products and solutions.
• Ability to create solution designs, bills of materials, POC plans and implementation documentation.
