About the role
We are looking for a friendly and efficient Sales Associate to join our team in Benin City, Nigeria. The role involves providing excellent customer service while ensuring accurate and timely transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them throughout their shopping experience.
- Accurately count and reconcile cash at the start and end of each shift.
- Scan items, bag purchases, issue receipts, and maintain a clean, organized checkout area.
- Assist with stock‑taking and inventory management when required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Required profile
- BSC, HND or Diploma in Accounting.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment is preferred.
- Computer literate with strong numeracy skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems.
- Experience using cash registers.
