About the role
We are looking for a motivated Sales Assistant to join our retail team in Abeokuta. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right products and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, understand their needs and provide product information.
- Explain features, pricing, quality and availability of items.
- Recommend suitable products based on customer requirements.
- Prepare quotations, invoices and other sales documentation when needed.
- Process orders accurately and follow up on inquiries and pending orders.
- Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Promote company products and identify upselling opportunities.
- Ensure merchandise is well‑displayed and the store remains tidy and organized.
Required profile
- Minimum OND qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar sales or customer‑service role.
- Entry‑level candidate with a strong desire to grow in retail.
