Reservation Agent

About the role

The Reservations Agent plays a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences at Movenpick Hotel Ikoyi Lagos. The position suits a highly organised, customer-oriented person with excellent communication skills and a strong ability to multitask, handling reservations, guest inquiries and providing personalised service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage room reservations efficiently and accurately, entering all details correctly into the system
• Respond to guest inquiries about room availability, rates and amenities
• Upsell hotel services and amenities to maximise revenue
• Provide personalised assistance to guests before, during and after their stay, and handle special requests and VIP arrangements
• Address guest concerns and coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs
• Maintain clear communication with guests by phone, email and in person, and share information on facilities, services and local attractions
• Keep accurate records of guest interactions and prepare reports on reservations, occupancy and guest feedback
• Assist in preparing promotional materials and packages

Required profile

• Previous experience in hotel reservations or a similar customer service role is preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once
• Knowledge of the local area, attractions and events is an advantage
• Additional hospitality or related education is a plus
• Flexible availability to work during the week, including weekends

Required skills

• Familiarity with hotel reservation systems and software (Resaweb, Opera Cloud) is essential
