Renewable Energy Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Renewable Energy Sales Executive to promote and sell solar and renewable‑energy solutions to residential, commercial and industrial clients in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for solar and renewable‑energy products and services.
• Generate and qualify leads through networking, referrals, digital channels and direct outreach.
• Conduct site visits and assess customer energy requirements.
• Present customized renewable‑energy solutions to prospective clients.
• Prepare quotations, proposals and sales contracts.
• Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve revenue targets.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Provide after‑sales support and follow‑up with customers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales records and reports using CRM tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field.
• 4–5 years of sales experience, preferably in renewable‑energy, electrical products or engineering.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and site inspections.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with CRM software.
• Understanding of solar energy systems and renewable‑energy solutions.
