Remote Frontend Engineer (React.js)

About the role

Kuda Bank is looking for a passionate Frontend Engineer to help reshape banking in Nigeria and beyond. This fully remote position focuses on building high‑quality, performant web interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to discuss UI ideas and application requirements.
• Translate designs and wireframes into clean, reusable React.js code.
• Develop and maintain front‑end architecture that supports user‑interface concepts.
• Identify and implement web‑based user interactions, ensuring optimal performance across devices and browsers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and document interface software and application changes.
• Build reusable components and libraries for future use, optimizing them for speed and accessibility.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
• Proven background as a React.js developer, including familiarity with tools like Webpack, Enzyme, Redux, and Flux.
• Ability to work on large‑scale, complex front‑end projects and empathise with diverse user needs.
• Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
