About the role
A fully remote, worldwide Data Engineer position, full-time and permanent. You will build the data pipelines and foundations used by applications, analytics and machine learning, focusing on dependable transformations, understandable data models and the checks that help teams trust their data.
Key responsibilities
- Develop repeatable ingestion, transformation and delivery pipelines for defined data needs.
- Design data models and validation checks that make datasets easier to understand and use.
- Investigate quality issues, failed runs and performance bottlenecks, and improve recovery.
- Document data flows, ownership and assumptions, and collaborate with the people using the outputs.
Required profile
- Practical experience building data pipelines and working with structured datasets.
- Ability to test data quality, investigate failures and improve pipeline reliability.
- Clear documentation and communication of data definitions, dependencies and limitations.
