About the role
FairMoney is seeking a Relationship Manager to lead its offline merchant acquiring business across a variety of sectors such as supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, and hotels. The role focuses on expanding the merchant network, driving sales revenue, and ensuring the profitability of the region.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow merchant acquisition and meet sales targets.
- Lead, coach, and monitor a high‑performance Merchant Acquisition team.
- Track daily, weekly and monthly KPIs, ensuring targets are consistently exceeded.
- Motivate Key Account Managers to achieve their individual KPIs.
- Meet regional quotas for transaction value, volume and revenue.
- Analyse market trends and provide competitor feedback to senior management.
- Maintain strong product knowledge to advise merchants effectively.
- Visit active and inactive merchants, retrieving POS terminals when necessary.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or a related field.
- 6‑8 years of experience in merchant acquisition or related sales business.
- Proven track record of managing and motivating a sales team.
- Possession of an Android smartphone for field activities.
