Business Development Officer

About the role

The Business Development Officer will drive growth for Latins Security by identifying new opportunities across private, corporate and government sectors. The role is full‑time, based on‑site in Abuja and focuses on expanding the company’s security service portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Research market trends and competitor activities to uncover potential business opportunities.
• Prepare and present proposals and pricing models tailored to client security needs.
• Participate in client meetings, negotiations and relationship‑building activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design customized security solutions.
• Monitor existing accounts, gather client feedback and contribute to sales strategy development.

Required profile

• Proven ability in new business development, lead generation and opportunity assessment.
• Strong analytical and basic finance skills, including budgeting awareness and revenue tracking.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for client presentations and negotiations.
• Customer‑service orientation with a focus on long‑term relationship management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
