Regional Manager - Buy Now Pay Later

About the role

PalmPay is looking for a Regional Manager to develop and execute sales strategies for its BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) mobile phone installment business within a designated region. The role manages a team of sales representatives, drives regional sales growth, builds partnerships with merchants and partners, and ensures the BNPL product line meets its sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Sales strategy and execution: develop and run sales strategies to hit BNPL targets, align sales activities with company goals and drive performance through the regional sales team.
• Team management: lead, motivate and manage sales executives and agents, set performance targets, and coach and train them.
• Market development: identify new opportunities and segments, build relationships with merchants, agents and distributors, and conduct market research and competitor analysis.
• Partner engagement: work with partner financial institutions, merchants and distribution channels to expand card issuance and product adoption.
• Reporting and analysis: prepare sales reports, forecasts and presentations for senior management, analyse regional data and share market insights such as customer feedback.
• Compliance and risk: ensure sales follow regulatory and company policies and implement controls in card distribution and sales.
• Customer service: work with customer service teams and resolve escalated issues related to BNPL usage, delivery or service.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of sales management experience, preferably in financial services or fintech.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing a customer base.
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of the payment and financial ecosystem, especially ATM and card services.
• Ability to analyse sales data and market trends.
