Regional Human Resources Manager

About the role

M-P Infrastructure Limited is looking for a strategically minded Regional Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across its South East construction portfolio. The role combines high‑volume recruitment, workforce planning and employee relations in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HR activities that support business operations and workforce needs across the assigned region.
• Coordinate and manage performance review processes for office and site employees.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment for engineers, technical professionals and site‑based staff.
• Work with business leaders on manpower planning to identify staffing needs and ensure timely recruitment.
• Oversee day‑to‑day HR operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistent service delivery.
• Implement company HR policies consistently while supporting operational requirements.
• Monitor compliance with Nigerian labour laws and company policies, especially for site‑based employees.
• Maintain accurate employee records, headcount reports and HR data to support management decisions.
• Handle employee relations matters, disciplinary issues and grievance resolution to promote a productive work environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 6–8 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in construction or real‑estate sectors.
• Proven track record of high‑volume recruitment and site‑based workforce planning.
• Strong analytical abilities and advanced proficiency in Excel and HR data reporting.
• In‑depth knowledge of Nigerian labour laws, particularly around contract staffing, artisan management and casual labour.
• CIPM certification or membership is highly preferred.
