Recruitment / Talent Acquisition Manager

About the role

A manufacturing company is urgently seeking a Recruitment / Talent Acquisition Manager to lead its hiring strategy, oversee the recruitment team and manage the end-to-end talent acquisition process. The role partners with department heads to forecast staffing needs, optimise sourcing channels, track hiring metrics and strengthen the employer brand. Candidates must have recruited in a factory, construction or manufacturing setting and be able to meet recruitment deadlines for factory hands, C-suite and functional positions. The position is based in Nigeria (Sagamu, Igbesa, Lagos), is full-time and starts immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Build and execute long-term hiring plans aligned with the company's growth goals.
• Supervise, coach and evaluate in-house and outsourced recruiters and hiring coordinators.
• Work with department managers to define job requirements, write job descriptions and speed up the selection process.
• Develop proactive talent pools, use social media platforms and manage Applicant Tracking Systems, including LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Track key performance indicators such as time to hire and cost per hire, and ensure compliance with labour laws.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc/MSc/MBA) in Human Resources, Psychology or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in human resources and recruitment, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Experience recruiting in a factory, construction or manufacturing industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Data analysis and digital sourcing tools.
• Strong communication, negotiation, leadership and decision-making abilities.
