Receptionist

About the role

Ahuvah Splendor is hiring a full-time Receptionist in Lagos (Marina). The role covers welcoming visitors, managing calls and correspondence, scheduling appointments and keeping the reception area tidy.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to visitors, clients and guests professionally
• Answer, screen and direct incoming telephone calls, and respond to inquiries with accurate information about the company
• Receive and direct visitors to the right departments or personnel
• Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, emails and deliveries
• Schedule appointments and maintain the company's appointment calendar
• Keep the reception area clean, neat and presentable
• Maintain visitor logs and other office records
• Assist with filing, photocopying, printing and scanning, and receive and distribute mail and packages
• Support other departments with basic administrative tasks and perform other duties assigned by management

Required profile

• Minimum of SSCE; OND, HND or a Bachelor's degree is an advantage
• Previous receptionist or customer service experience is an advantage but not compulsory
• Good verbal and written communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance, punctuality, reliability and attention to detail

Required skills

• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and email
• Good organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
