Real Estate Lawyer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Lawyer to manage legal risks and provide comprehensive counsel on real estate transactions for our portfolio. The role involves drafting, negotiating, and ensuring compliance across a range of property deals.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor legal risk in real estate documentation and advise clients accordingly.
• Draft and negotiate real estate transactions, routine leases, and amendments.
• Ensure appropriate approvals are in place before executing transactions.
• Manage regulatory and compliance services related to property matters.
• Represent the company in purchases and sales of properties.
• Defend municipal code litigation.
• Support legal and advisory needs for a large‑scale real estate portfolio.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Law (essential).
• Admitted as a notary public (essential).
• Strong experience in real estate law, including litigation, lease transactions, property management, and purchase & sale transactions.
• Solid experience in title insurance underwriting, curative, and claims.
• Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and research skills.
• Natural leader with sound judgment and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and public speaking skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
