Quantity Surveyor

About the role

The Quantity Surveyor will join Palton Morgan Holdings in Lagos to prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQs), provide accurate cost estimates and support budgeting for residential and commercial real estate projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review and manage BOQs and cost estimates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project costs, evaluate variations, prepare cost reports and advise on cost‑saving opportunities.
• Support cost planning, tender analysis and contract administration in collaboration with project managers, engineers and contractors.
• Assist in risk assessment, feasibility studies and ensure projects are completed within approved budgets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional certification or membership (e.g., NIQS, RICS) is an advantage.
• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on real estate or construction projects, preferably in Nigeria.
• Strong analytical, numerical and negotiation skills with high attention to detail.
