Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Dangote Industries Limited is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, budgeting and cost control for its construction projects. You will work closely with project teams, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure financial performance aligns with project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and cost‑planning documents for all project works.
• Calculate material quantities, labour costs and develop realistic project time‑frames.
• Analyse tender costs, value works and negotiate labour contracts and schedules.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, safety practices, construction progress and material requirements.
• Control scope changes, assess their financial impact and maintain a change‑management process.
• Produce regular reports on costs, progress and any variances.

Required profile

• HND or B.Sc. degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• 5‑7 years of relevant experience, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
• Membership in the Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) is an advantage.
• Strong communication, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good understanding of engineering, construction technology and health‑safety regulations.
