Quantity Surveyor – Construction Cost Specialist

About the role
Hedge & Pembrook Limited is seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join its construction team in Abuja. You will play a pivotal role in managing project costs, ensuring accurate estimates, and supporting procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and detailed cost estimates for new and ongoing projects.
- Monitor project costs and cash flow, providing regular financial updates to project managers.
- Evaluate contractor claims, variations, and change orders to ensure fair and accurate adjustments.
- Conduct cost analysis and reporting to identify savings opportunities.
- Support procurement processes by supplying cost data and assisting in vendor selection.
Required profile
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in construction cost management.
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in cost estimation tools.
