QA Lead – Project Portfolio Management (PPM)

About the role

The QA Lead reports directly to the QAQC Portfolio Manager (PPM) and supports the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) across a portfolio of projects. The role ensures that all quality activities comply with company rules, project procedures and industry standards, and that contractors and subcontractors meet required quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Build, implement and maintain the generic QMS framework, including the Quality Manual, Project Quality Plan and Internal Audit procedure.
• Define QMS Key Performance Indicators and adapt them to each project within the portfolio.
• Present the QMS to project teams, monitor implementation and ensure consistent application of procedures.
• Lead external quality audits of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring full compliance with project and PPM requirements.
• Participate in contractor qualification and assessment processes, approving only compliant entities.
• Investigate QA issues, propose corrective actions and monitor audit findings through regular meetings.
• Govern non‑conformance, deviation and derogation management, ensuring proper documentation, traceability and closure.
• Capture lessons learned from non‑conformances and audits to drive continuous improvement.
• Report portfolio‑level quality trends, risks and remedial actions to the QAQC Portfolio Manager.

Required profile

• Reports directly to the QAQC Portfolio Manager (PPM).
• Experience in developing, implementing and improving a Quality Management System across multiple projects.
• Ability to identify quality risks early and manage non‑conformances, deviations and derogations.
• Strong analytical skills for root‑cause analysis and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
