AutoCAD Designer – Architectural & Construction Drafting

About the role

The AutoCAD Designer will create detailed architectural and construction drawings, translating design briefs into accurate technical plans. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with local and international teams to support engineering and construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update floor plans, elevations, and space‑planning layouts using AutoCAD and related software.
• Interpret design briefs, ensure drawings comply with building codes and project standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify specifications and incorporate feedback.
• Maintain clear, accurate documentation and manage multiple drawing sets across projects.

Required profile

• Strong background in architectural and construction drawing production.
• Experience in space planning and translating concepts into efficient layouts.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with project stakeholders.
• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and capacity to meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with additional CAD/BIM tools such as Revit or SketchUp.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards.
