Project Procurement Manager

About the role

The Project Procurement Manager leads the end‑to‑end procurement cycle for assigned projects, ensuring that materials, equipment, services and contractors are sourced on time, to the required quality and at optimal commercial value. The role works closely with project, engineering, finance, operations and legal teams to align procurement activities with project schedules and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project‑specific procurement plans, translating requirements into sourcing strategies and schedules.
• Manage competitive sourcing processes (RFQs, RFPs, tenders), evaluate suppliers, and negotiate contracts, pricing, warranties and delivery terms.
• Coordinate purchase order issuance, monitor supplier performance, and expedite delivery of critical and long‑lead items.
• Ensure all procured goods and services meet approved specifications, quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Track procurement spend against budgets, report risks, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or related field.
• 7–10 years of procurement experience, preferably in project‑based, construction or capital‑intensive environments.
• Proven track record in sourcing, tender management, commercial negotiation and contract administration.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with procurement or ERP systems.
