Project Key Account Manager

About the role

eRecruiter is hiring a Project Key Account Manager in Lagos, Nigeria. The role manages commercial relationships with existing large and multi-side clients, keeping service levels high while identifying new business opportunities. It works closely with the head of operations and the operations team so that service requirements are understood and delivered in line with client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor the day-to-day commercial performance of each account in the portfolio
• Liaise regularly with existing clients to identify new opportunities and progressively manage the opportunity pipeline, tracking and closing deals to meet quarterly gross profit targets
• Ensure clients understand the services offered by the company and other parts of the group
• Maintain records using cloud-based technologies
• Manage the rollout of new contracts and services and promote the company's one-stop-shop offer to major projects
• Identify major projects in the market and keep close contact with key leaders in the telecom and project markets
• Follow up project execution up to full commissioning with the operations team and give customers regular updates

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a key account manager
• Excellent communication, negotiation, managerial and leadership skills
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, professionalism, positive attitude and proactive, persuasive approach
