Project IT Manager – Real Estate Technology

About the role

Alpha Mead Group is seeking a Project IT Manager to lead technology initiatives that support its real‑estate operations in Lagos. You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the IT infrastructure that powers estate management, security systems and smart‑home solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, design and oversee IT projects that enable efficient estate operations, including network, data and security technologies.
• Manage and maintain core IT infrastructure such as servers, Wi‑Fi, CCTV, access‑control and smart‑home integrations.
• Ensure smooth operation of estate management applications like billing, help‑desk and resident portals.
• Collaborate with vendors, service providers and contractors for installations and ongoing support.
• Implement data‑security measures, disaster‑recovery plans and monitor system performance to minimise downtime.
• Provide technical support and training to staff and residents.
• Develop IT policies, procedures and documentation to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Oversee IT budgets, procurement and vendor contracts.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in IT project management, infrastructure support or systems administration, preferably in real‑estate or facility‑management environments.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CCNA, Microsoft or CISSP are highly desirable.
