Project Engineer – Gas Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a senior Project Engineer to lead the engineering design and delivery of gas infrastructure projects for Skache Integrated Services. The role involves overseeing front‑end engineering design (FEED), detailed engineering, and ensuring technical solutions meet business and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead FEED, detailed engineering and technical specification development for gas compression, storage, transport and decompression systems.
• Act as Owner’s Engineer, reviewing EPC contractor deliverables, approving PFDs, P&IDs, layout drawings and HAZOP reports.
• Provide real‑time engineering support during procurement, fabrication, construction, commissioning and start‑up, coordinating FAT and SAT.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and regulatory standards (e.g., DPR/NUPRC, NSI, ASME, API) and secure necessary permits.
• Develop operating manuals, maintenance strategies and training programmes, and support early operations and performance troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical or Petroleum Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum 7 years of gas infrastructure project engineering experience, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
• Proven experience with virtual pipeline systems (CNG or LNG) and gas compression facilities.
• Strong knowledge of engineering standards such as ASME, API, NFPA and ISO.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage interfaces with contractors and regulators.
